AN APPEAL FOR QUIET

A sign is available saying ‘Talk to God before Mass and to each other after Mass’. It’s been getting rather noisy before Sunday services lately, so to spare the expense of a couple of signs, please try to keep the noise down when you come in to worship. Thank you.

Please remember the Triangle Bookstore in Kingsmead, Farnborough for all your Christian and other book supplies. They also run an excellent café.

OCCASIONAL OFFICES

If you’re thinking of booking a Baptism or a Wedding in the parish, best get in touch with the churchwardens as soon as you can, especially if you’re hoping for a popular summer date.

FLOWERS IN CHURCH

Anyone is welcome to sponsor the flowers at our churches, perhaps for an anniversary or birthday or in memory of a loved one. Please speak to Anne Leppard or Joan Dimmick for details. If you would like a notice placed in this weekly sheet detailing your sponsorship, please give Dave Powers a written note in good time (preferably a week before the date). Thank you.

ON THE LOOKOUT

We get quite a few people at church who are with us for the first time. If there’s someone you don’t recognise in your row, why not encourage them to stay for coffee after the service? It’s a good way of making them welcome.

HAWLEY CHARITIES

Trustees of the Hawley Charities  can recommend those living in the parish for a grant in case of genuine need. The Trustees of Relief in Need  can make grants to those living in Hart or Rushmoor. Please approach them in confidence. The Churchwardens can advise.
